Each summer Waveney & Blyth Arts organises a season of events across its patch which reflect the organisation’s central theme of connecting people and places through the arts.
Since these started in 2011 a core element has been a range of short walks that have a creative focus, illuminating the landscape or adding interest to town-scapes by exploring the links between local places and creative artists from all genres. In 2016 there were 11 walks which drew over 250 people.
A recent addition has been the Sculpture Trail at the River Waveney Trust site at Earsham near Bungay. In 2016 the Trail and the associated events drew in excess of 3200 people and almost £7,000 worth of original art work was sold.
Details of all the events are in the 2016 brochure.
