Each summer Waveney & Blyth Arts organises a season of events across its patch which reflect the organisation’s central theme of connecting people and places through the arts.
Since these started in 2011 a core element has been a range of short walks that have a creative focus, illuminating the landscape or adding interest to town-scapes by exploring the links between local places and creative artists from all genres. In 2016 there were 11 walks which drew over 250 people.
A recent addition has been the Sculpture Trail, now at the Raveningham Centre near Beccles. In 2017 the Trail and the associated events drew in excess of 3200 people and almost £12,000 worth of original art work was sold.
