A rare treat is in store for music lovers when the Gaulitanus Choir of Gozo, Malta visits St. Michael’s Church, Framlingham on Sunday 25th November As part of this year’s UK tour, which will include Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and St. John’s Catholic Cathedral, Norwich, the choir will be performing a selection of their extensive and versatile repertoire at the church at 6pm.
Established in 1990 by its conductor, Colin Attard, the choir has gained a reputation at home on the island of Gozo and on its many tours abroad for its attention to detail in both serious and light music, projection of dynamics and crispness of phrasing. It is responsible for the international Gaulitana Festival and is at home with a range of musical styles from opera to local Maltese folk song.
