Five years on IBBAS (Inspired by Becker Art Society) continues to celebrate the Blyth Valley’s connection to the power and immediacy of the work of Harry Becker, the artist who lived in Wenhaston last century.
The exhibition presents over 130 works of exciting, contemporary fine art by East Anglian artists responding to the work of Harry Becker.
This year IBBAS is joining forces with The Suffolk Punch Trust to offer children and adults an experience of painting ‘en plein air’, sketching the handsome Suffolk Punch horse in ploughing finery at the Trust. Dates in May and June.
For competitive painters there is a “Paint Out Competition” on Saturday 5 August. Details about all these events can be found at www.ibbas.co.uk
Delicious tea, coffee and home-made cakes available.
