From Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 October the Fabba Theatre Company for Adults with Learning Difficulties present their latest high octane offering ‘Ghost Busters return’. Full of energy, large on laughs, overwhelming with enthusiasm – what’s not to enjoy? Tickets £8/£7.
On Saturday 7 October at 7.30pm we are delighted to welcome back to the Seagull Theatre, ‘Rod Clark and friends’. Come and join us for a fantastic night of music from 50s and 60s. This is a Seagull fundraiser, so book your ticket to show your support, and then get up and dance. Tickets £10
On Sunday 8 October at 7. 30pm Andy Davis hosts our ever popular monthly Karaoke evening. Everyone is welcome to perform or simply listen at this family friendly event in the Foyer Bar. Admission free.
On Tuesday 10 October at 7.30pm we welcome Matthew Fox virtuoso blues player, Matthew Fox. Matthew is a guitarist and songwriter whose Southern roots run deep. Performances showcase his acclaimed Americana songwriting as well as traditional Blues. He has appeared on stages, radio programs and at workshops throughout the US, British Isles and Scandinavia and is touring the UK again in support of his 2017 release, “That Crooked Stage”.’ Tickets £5.
On Friday 13 October at 7.30pm we are delighted to welcome Rogues Chorus – Shanty Choir with “Shanties, Sails and Smugglers Tales 2” (back by popular demand). The Rogues Shanty Chorus is a collective that celebrates the heritage, culture and legacy of Lowestoft’s bygone seafaring communities through performance of the music they left. This show is very likely to sell out so please book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets £8/£6.
On Saturday 14 October at 7.30pm The Stuff of Dreams Theatre Company present, Anglian Mist’, by Tim Lane and Cordelia Spence Inspired by the desolate beauty and strange structures of Orford Ness, dark secrets, counter-intelligence and spies are the order of the day for Anglian Mist, a thrilling drama set in the days of the Cold War. Tickets £10/£8.
On Sunday 15 October at 2.30pm for the first time at the Seagull we present a ‘one-dog’ show – ‘Once upon a Labrador’. This show features Alfie the Labrador. It would be quite wrong to suggest that Alfie is a performing dog. He does not walk on a tightrope, juggle, or dance on his hind legs. The reason is simply that Alfie is happy to be a Labrador. Nothing more. And he maintains this role with dignity and distinction. Charles Garland does all the talking. Tickets £10.
