On Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 July at 7pm Pakefield Primary’s Year 6s present a distinctively Pakefield slant on Homer’s ‘The Odyssey’. Travel with the young cast through one epic story and two epic journeys in order to find a surprisingly modern message. Tickets £5.
On Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 July at 7pm come on a journey ‘Under the Sea (gull)’. The Seagull Youth groups (5-8) and (9-12) invite you to an evening of poems, plays, songs and dances. The children have been very creative this term, writing their own scripts and poems. You will meet sailors, pirates and maybe even a sea creature or two! Tickets £4/ £2.
On Thursday 13 and Friday 14 July you are invited to the ‘Seagull Youth Scratch Night’. Our awesome teens (13+) have had a whole term learning with a mixture of tutors from stage combat to script writing, from physical theatre to devising so it seems only right that we have allowed them this opportunity to create their own show. With their new tutor Ashleigh now in place, please come and see them in their end of year production. Tickets £4/£2.
On Saturday 15 July at 7.30pm we are delighted present ‘Jack Ollett and Friends’. Local boy, Jack Ollett, is an internationally recognised tenor and has performed extensively from New york to Dubai. Now back in the UK jack is joined by friends to provide a wonderful evening’s entertainment with music from the Rat Pack to opera, with a bit of rock and roll thrown in for good measure. Tickets £10/£8.
On Sunday 16 July at 7pm Andy Davis hosts the ever popular Karaoke evening in the Foyer Bar. Always a great night for old hands and newcomers alike. Admission free.
