Collage Map Making

A BioBlitz Arts Artistic Workshop with Holly Saniford

Join Artist and W&BA member Holly Saniford for the second of two family-friendly free creative arts workshops on video. Create art inspired by the natural habitats and wildlife at the Suffolk Coast AONB area.

In this workshop, Holly will help you to create your own collaged map based on a virtual photo-walk she will take you on. The map you create could help you to explore the landscape on a trip to the Suffolk Coast AONB too.

This video is suitable for all ages from 8+ to adult. It will be available to view on our YouTube Channel on Thursday 27th August.

To take part, you’ll need:

  • A4 paper
  • Scrap paper
  • Pencils or pens
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Holly Sandiford is a socially engaged artist and director at ArtatWork, a successful arts and wellbeing organisation. Holly is experienced in creating inspiring visual arts projects for communities across East Anglia to enjoy.

This video is part of our BioBlitz Arts series, produced in summer/autumn 2020. The videos include a site survey and inspiring workshops by an artist and poet. They can be enjoyed by all ages and watched in any order.
