Charles Rennie Mackintosh Walberswick Arts & Eats/Walk

SOLD OUT!

Arts and Eats/Walk - do join us for this lovely Spring walk and lunch in Walberswick.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh visited Walberswick on several occasions, including from 1914 to 1915. The inspiration for this walk is the novel ‘Mr Mac and Me’  by Esther Freud whose thorough research and fictional narrative created an atmospheric portrayal of the period. We will discover a little more of Charles Rennie Mackintosh as we stroll through the village.

For those who wish - and we hope you do! - we will then have lunch at the Anchor pub to continue the conversation.

The walk will be led by Lynda Ayres who first led this walk for the Beccles u3a Historic Walks group.
