The Seagull Theatre, Lowestoft has a whole host of events coming up.
On Tuesday 15 October at 7.30pm James McDermott’s new play, ‘Camp!’ tells the tale of Adam who against his boyfriend Steve’s advice sets out to investigate the anti-gap purges in Chechnya. Come along and encounter an urgent exploration of fake news and much else besides. Tickets £6/£3.
On Thursday 17 October at 7.30pm the innovative play, ‘Sisterhood’ slips between seventeenth century witch trials and modern day women caught up in environmental issues. Described as ‘like the Handmaids’ Tale – but with more hope’ this is a fascinating and thought-provoking performance. Tickets £8.
On Friday 18 October at 7.30pm James Phelan presents his ground-breaking, and hugely entertaining magical prank show, ‘Troublemaker’. Tickets £12/£10.
On Saturday 19 October at 7.30pm the ‘ELO Encounter’ offer so much more than a mere tribute band – this performance is an amazing re-creation of the original ELO sounds – absolutely stunning! Tickets £14/£12.
On Sunday 20 October at 7.30pm Andy Davis hosts the always friendly, welcoming and big on fun Karaoke night in the Foyer Bar. Admission is free.
