Craftco – May
Craftco Exhibition this May…
Harry Chrystall
Harry Chrystall is a multi disciplinary artist and designer with degrees in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College and Chelsea School of Art.
His work encompasses both figurative and abstract themes which he explores with a variety of materials in two and three dimensions.
His current work focuses on the relationship between artwork and spectator and how the universal and abstract principles that pervade our daily experience are mirrored in this uncertain relationship.
Harleston Players
Harleston Players present Blithe Spirit, by Noel Coward
Madame Arcati, a local clairvoyant, accepts an invitation to the home of Charles and Ruth Condomine for dinner and to hold a seance. Unbeknown to her, Charles has an ulterior motive – he has writer’s block and is hoping to observe the ‘tricks of the trade’ to help progress his latest book. However, the evening does not go as planned, with the spirit of his attractive first wife, Elvira, accidentally being summoned up, which naturally does not go down too well with Ruth, and events begin to spiral.
Come and enjoy Noel Coward’s ‘improbable farce’!
Ruth McCabe
Ruth McCabe presents a SALE of retrospective work and new affordable rental schemes in her Easter art event in Wenhaston.
Ruth McCabe, artist and sea swimmer at Southwold, discovered MER washed up on the beach, in a poor state having been heavily contaminated by single use plastics that are polluting her environment. MER is now resting in the garden, and helping Ruth curate a fascinating show for the week after Easter.
Since Covid is still very much with us, please text, WhatsApp or email to discuss suitable times to pop by, meet MER and have a leisurely quiet browse.
