Creative Circle
Merlina Arts
Four established creatives from across Suffolk have come together for this exhibition, which is showing at Merlina Arts, Earsham Mill from Thursday 30 March, ending on Easter Monday 10 April.
Hilary Garner and Norma Read, known as Garner+Read, have exhibited together a number of times around East Anglia, and are delighted to be joined by esteemed artists Ruth McCabe and Diana Capstick.
Garner+Read are well-known for their oil paintings of still life, landscapes, people and animals, and their distinctive use of colour and texture.
Ruth McCabe paints in watercolour, acrylic, oils and collage. Her watercolour work is innovative and abstract in style, capturing the beauty of the Suffolk landscape.
Diana Capstick is a neurodiverse artist whose work includes sculpture, drawing and painting. Her interest is often piqued by current affairs and some of her paintings contain hidden messages; her other work is inspired by the natural world.
