A young boy in a deserted graveyard at sunset; a vicious convict on the loose. A dark opening indeed to Circle 67’s production of Great Expectations. Circle 67, as our name implies, was founded in 1967 to bring high-quality and accessible drama to our local area.

Grace Adam is running a series of creative workshops and talks. Grace teaches at Chelsea College of Arts and the Royal Academy of Arts and has a lot of experience of leading friendly, informative creative workshops – working at The National Portrait Gallery, The Courtauld and Tate as well as with community groups, schools and colleges.

Grace’s workshops include friendly, tailored tuition, lots of tea and all materials are provided. You’ll be able to develop your work, with new ideas and practical guidance. All of the workshops start with a short informative PowerPoint; a bit of context, art history and inspiration. Whether you are experienced or just starting out, you’re welcome. Enjoy a PowerPoint presentation and a glass of wine or a coffee. Learn about the artist and their work, their ideas and techniques, and the way the exhibition is curated. All of the workshops and talks are based in a cosy studio in a Cherry Orchard in Raveningham, South Norfolk (12 miles from Norwich, 9 miles from Beccles).

Come and sing musicals!

A splendid opportunity to join other singers in a fun day exploring songs from well-known musicals! The day will be led by the charismatic vocal specialist and choir trainer Vetta Wise. Terry Cunnane will be our accompanist. St. Mark’s Church Centre is ideally placed with ample car parking and space for all to sing in comfort and to partake of refreshments. Do reserve your place soon – and do bring your youngsters, for whom this will be a good way to introduce them to the enjoyment of singing.

Daddy’s Girl is our premiere production which dives into the trauma of suicide, loss, the complex, competitive relationships between siblings and the lasting effects of childhood trauma. Among the distressing build up to the funeral, there are unsettling, humorous flashes in this dark tragedy. Suitable for ages 16+ with scenes some may find upsetting.
