An exhibition of new art celebrating the words and ‘shewings’ of Julian of Norwich will be showing in three churches in Norwich between 18th October and 16th November.
This exhibition, which celebrates the 650th anniversary of Julian’s visions, is being displayed in St John’s Timberhill (opposite John Lewis shop), St Julian’s on Rouen Road, and St Stephen’s in Rampant Horse Street, next door to M&S.
Featured artists include Nicky Stainton, who has collaborated with Sian Croose to create an installation which will enfold you in beautiful sounds, images and evocative smells! The other artists, using a range of media including film and script, come from Norfolk, Scotland and America. There is also a programme of free family arts activities on 26th October.
