New Words: Fresh Voices

22nd October 2019 By Genevieve Rudd

Sunday 17th November, 7:30pm

The Seagull Theatre in Lowestoft are hosting their next New Words: Fresh Voices on 17th November, and our Bugs & Blossoms poetry competition winners have been invited to read as part of the evenings performances.

For those of you not familiar with NWFV, it is a relaxed and gently moderated evening of readings and songs which takes place in the Seagull Theatre foyer bar. This is the Seagull’s bi-monthly performance platform for local poets and songwriters. Described as ‘a place of truth-telling which is the basis of all good poetry’, contributors explore what is good, bad and fascinating about being human – all told with refreshing honesty and good humour. If you would like to take part in this event, please contact Ian Fosten (07791 068080) or ian@fosten.com

£4 admission on the door

For more information about the venue, take a look at the Seagull Theatre‘s website.
